This is for a new 1955 1956 Chevrolet car shift detent for TH-350, TH-400, 700R4 and 2004R transmissions. This parts mounts to the bottom of the original steering column and acts as the safety so the car can't fall out of park or slip into the reverse by accident. Special mounting screws are included.
