This is a new 1955 1956 1957 1958 1959 Chevy factory style generator / power steering pump exhaust heat shield. See pic for original location if you are not sure where this goes. This small metal shield is commonly missing due them being removed during a generator rebuild and people forgot to put them back on. Both of these critical components do not like excess heat so, be sure to keep them cool with this heat shield. It fits V8 and 6 cylinder engines. Sku #3195
