This is brand new MADE IN THE USA 1955-1956 Chevrolet 265 V8 starter motor adapter plate and proper spacer kit for adapting a later model Turbo 350, 400, 700R4 and 200R4 transmission. This kit is the only one on the market that comes with a bolt-through crankshaft spacer. This steel adapter plate kit will also work on later 283, 327, 350, 383, 400 small blocks with broken starter mounts. It will require you to use an original 3-bolt 1955-1956 Chevy or aftermarket 3-bolt starter motor (not included). You will also need to use a 168 tooth flywheel flexplate.
This kit comes with all the hardware, proper steel spacers, liquid thread locker and instructions needed.
