This is a brand new 1968-1973 Chevrolet Corvette headlight switch with the vacuum ports to activate the pop up headlights. This switch also fits 1968 Impala & Caprice with the optional hideaway headlights. This switch is the correct early version that had 8 electrical prongs on it. I did extensive research and found that GM used this exact switch from 1968-1973 and then superseded to the 7 prong switch in 1974. Either switch will work but this switch is the exact reproduction of the early GM part number 1995166 that originally came in your Corvette from 68-73.
